History
In Body Politics, Dale lead Lucy on to manipulate her anger about the boys and girls sports teams. She discovered this when he rejected her offer to the semi-formal dance. Lucy was hurt by this because she wanted to go to the semi-formal but in the end, he ended up doing her a favor by turning her down because she ended up becoming closer to Bronco. The two ended up a couple by the end of the episode, after she finally got to know him past his cover.
