Steve Belford (b. October 13, 1980 in Milton, Ontario) is a Canadian actor, best known for having portrayed Jesse Stefanovic on Degrassi: The Next Generation, as well as his roles on The Vampire Diaries, Radio Free Roscoe and Paradise Falls.
Steve spent time in Australia as an exchange student in high school and came to Toronto to pursue his acting dreams. Later on, he returned to Sydney and took an Advanced Acting course with the National Institute of Dramatic Art. He also studied acting with many of Toronto's best teachers while auditioning for various television and film projects. Steve's big break came when he was cast as a series regular on "Radio Free Roscoe." Larger roles followed, on shows such as "Sue Thomas F.B. Eye," "Show Me Yours" and "72 Hours: True Crime."
