The friendship between Clare Edwards and Imogen Moreno is known as Climogen (Clare/Imogen). Their conflict started in Season 11 in Dirt Off Your Shoulder (2) due to Imogen’s fondness for Eli Goldsworthy and his animosity with Clare and Jake Martin. Their conflict has dissolved and they are now friends.

In U Don’t Know (1), Imogen really wants to win the role of Clara in Love Roulette. She decides that she wants to be more like Clare in order to get the part. At lunch, Imogen sits near Clare and copies her every move like eating, wiping her face, reading a book, and taking a sip. Clare notices Imogen and questions her on why she's doing it. Imogen then admits that she wants to be her. Clare seems confused about this until Imogen informs her that she's trying to get the role of Clara. Clare agrees to help her, and she tells Imogen to tell Eli that he should be happy and move on because she's happy and has a boyfriend. Imogen agrees. Later, Imogen walks to Clare in the halls and is carrying a stack of books. She tells Clare that she read every word of all of her favorite books, surprising her. Imogen asks if she can borrow her clothes now, but Clare tells her "not just yet." Clare wants a promise, she wants Imogen to make "Clara" sympathetic and not a devil because Clare isn't really a devil. Imogen accepts the promise. Later after Eli rejected all of the other auditions he feels there's no hope until Imogen walks in and says a line that makes Eli think she's ready for the plot.

In U Don’t Know (2), Imogen sneaks up on Clare, surprising her. Imogen thanks Clare and gives her a coupon at Little Miss Steaks for her and her boyfriend, Jake. Clare thanks Imogen and leaves. Later Imogen is seen at Little Miss Steaks spying on Clare with Jake. Eli enters the restaurant thinking Imogen invited him to talk about "Clara." Imogen compliments him, but he shrugs it off. Eli starts to sit down where she is sitting at, but Imogen suggests they sit at another spot. Imogen then walks over where Clare and Jake are. They walk in on the couple kissing. Clare then awkwardly introduces Eli to Jake, whom he has met before. Imogen puts her arm around Eli like they are a couple and calls him Muffin twice. He yells at her to stop calling him that and leaves. Clare then looks angrily at Imogen and tells her that the real Clare Edwards would never do what she just did. Imogen says that she would, adding that she stops at nothing to get what she wants and walks off, leaving Clare to glare as she does so. The next morning Eli is talking to Fiona and then goes over and talks to Imogen. Eli tells Imogen that even though he saw Clare and Jake kiss, he is still completely in love with her and hasn't gotten over her in the least which makes Imogen angry and hurt.

After going to Mr. Simpson when Clare is being scolded and telling Simpson that Clare was just holding them for him because he was having trouble with them, Imogen tells Eli that she did it on purpose to get Clare away from him so they could be together. Eli tells Imogen that she is what he is to Clare, which is nothing. Both Clare and Imogen watch Eli perform in his play. While Imogen watches, hurt, from near the lights that illuminate the stage, Clare watches from the crowd behind CeCe and Bullfrog Goldsworthy and looks on with shock and ends up wiping away tears when the play is over.

Season 13[]

Imogen Has A Wig

Imogen changes the subject by offering Clare a cute wig.

In All I Wanna Do, Imogen visits Clare in the hospital along with Adam and helps her pick out a wig to wear. Imogen tells Clare that the thick, black, and ratty wig she tries on is very "femme fatale" but Clare tells her not to lie just because she has cancer. When Clare mentions how Eli is going to break up with her soon enough, Imogen quickly changes the subject and tells her she has the perfect thing.

In My Own Worst Enemy, Imogen seems happy to see that Clare is out of the hospital and at Degrassi's summer camp for kids that she, Adam, and Drew are working at. When Clare asks to help with the kids, Adam and Imogen let her.

In Black or White, Clare sees Imogen and Winston heading DTV's protest about Drew's "fascist" presidency. She decides not to get in the middle of it.

Imogen Knows Clare's Crush

Imogen tells Clare she almost has a crush on her with that short, swooshy hair.

In Army of Me, Imogen suspects that Clare has feelings for Drew and tells her that if she hurts Eli she'll spork out her eyes and feed them to her fishies. But after Clare says it's just a crush, Imogen says it's normal because she gets crushes every day. She adds that she almost has a crush on Clare "with that short, swooshy hair" of hers. She then adds that Drew would never date her. Clare gets offended by this and asks why. Imogen says she's not his type, "like, at all," and walks off. Clare looks at her offended.

In Enjoy the Silence, Imogen and Clare are seen walking to class with Jack. They are seen in a room while Clare is asking Drew questions on the lie detector test.

Later on, Imogen is surprised to see Becky at the camping trip and tells her she'll be her partner when Clare walks up and says that Imogen already promised Clare she'd be her partner. Clare explains that she doesn't wanna be partnered with Drew and Becky says she'd go with him. Clare and Imogen are seen walking off together.

Season 14[]

In Firestarter (2), Imogen tells Eli that Clare is running the concession stand at the cheer competition at Degrassi when she invites Eli to watch her girlfriend Jack cheer. She says that she overheard Alli and Jenna talking about how Clare was wrong about the baby and that Eli is the father. Eli stares at her, motionless, for several seconds, and then runs out of the store to find Clare, leaving Imogen at The Dot.

Clare is Surprised

Clare is surprised when Imogen said she physically attacked someone.

In Wishlist, Clare and Eli sit in The Dot and listen to Imogen's problems with Jack. Imogen tells them she physically attacked someone because he was harassing her and Jack. Clare responds empathetically that that's gross. Imogen continues that when she tried to tell Ms. Pill, Jack threw her under the bus. Clare, knowing Jack pretty well, is confused and thinks Jack is usually one to stand up for something like that. Imogen agrees and wonders back why Jack wouldn't want to hold this "creepy creep" responsible and Eli responds he doesn't know but offers that some people are private about that stuff. Imogen thinks thats dumb and doesn't understand why people would ignore it because "how's the world gonna change if we ignore injustice?" Clare says awkwardly that if she had ignored it she wouldn't have detention all week. Imogen asks if they think she's overreacting after gathering that they're on Jack's side. Clare responds that Jack is a smart person and assures her that Jack has a reason. Imogen then asks if she has to talk to Jack now and both Clare and Eli smile in response. Imogen says okay before taking a cupcake from the counter. Eli clears his throat and, like a child, Imogen puts coins on the counter in a huff.

In Walking in My Shoes, Imogen walks up to Clare, Alli, and Dallas and asks to borrow Clare for a second to talk, most likely about taking her and Jack off the best couple nominations. Once Imogen sees Alli and Dallas taking their final picture and hears them bonding over their parents, she changes her mind and tells Clare that Jack simply couldn't make it for a picture but she will get her to come tomorrow. As Imogen walks off, Clare looks concerned, and Imogen mutters "I hope" under her breath.

In Finally (2), they are seen attending prom, though they don't go with the same friend groups. They graduate together and after they toss their caps, Clare shares a hug with Jenna and Imogen. Clare joins the conga line started by Imogen and Becky after kissing Eli.
