The World I Know is the seventeenth episode of Season 13, as well as the premiere of the winter block. It aired on January 28, 2014.
Main Plot[]
Alli finds out Leo is going back to France so decides to marry him. It is also Alli’s birthday and her family is throwing a surprise party for her. Leo and Alli have their wedding. They get in Leo’s car and Alli tells him she needs to get back to school and later to go home to celebrate her birthday with her family. Leo thinks they can tell her parents that they’re married but Alli says they can’t because it would be a mistake. This makes Leo angry because he believes Alli thinks the marriage was a mistake and is ashamed of him. Alli tries to calm him down, but Leo snaps and hits her. She tries talking him down again but Leo gets more violent with her and she pleads for him to stop. She falls out of his vehicle, breaking her arm and Leo drives away.
Alli walks back home, bruised and bloodied and the lights are off. Her family, Clare and Jenna jump out to surprise her but are shocked that she is hurt. Alli lies saying she was mugged and her parents say they need to get the police involved and catch the person who did this.
Sub Plot[]
Maya is put on the rubber room but needs to make a project with Zig but she takes it too far accidentally insults him for the project.
Third Plot[]
Drew tries to make things right with Clare after their kiss.
