Free Fallin' (1) is the fourteenth episode of Season 6 of Degrassi: The Next Generation. It aired on March 28, 2007 in Canada and on June 29, 2007 in the United States. This episode and its sequel are named after Tom Petty's song Free Fallin'.

Summary[]

Paige isn't exactly loving her new life at Banting -- panic attacks, tons of work, and setting your own room on fire? She's been through it all. Meanwhile, Peter wants forgiveness from Darcy, but things may be more complicated than he thought.

Main Plot[]

After a panic attack during a midterm exam, Paige's professor at Banting offers her one more chance -- which comes in the form of a ton of work to be completed over the holiday weekend. But with a huge family dinner to cook and everyone dying to know how fantastic university life is, something's gotta give, and Paige isn't exactly sure what it's going to be.

Sub Plot[]

Peter wants forgiveness from Darcy, but he has his work cut out before she actually will.

Alex: (to Paige) And after your breakdown, I wanted to make sure you were OK.
Mrs. Michalchuk: Breakdown?
Paige: Alex is a pathological liar.
