WhisperHug was a band formed by Mo Mashkour, Maya Matlin, Zig Novak, Imogen Moreno, and the late Adam Torres in the twelfth season of Degrassi.

Season 12[]
After winter break during his senior year, Mo decided that he should form a band. He had posters hung up at Degrassi saying he's looking for players and vocalists.
In Come As You Are (1), Maya notices Mo's flyers and decides to audition.
In Come As You Are (2), later at the audition in the band room, Imogen displays a unique performance, which Mo calls "weird but great". Maya then is up next to audition. She begins to play, and Mo seems very intrigued. Towards the end of her performance, the bra stuffer falls from her shirt and onto the floor. Everyone in the room notices, and Maya notices as well but refuses to stop playing. Mo tries to gesture towards the ground to her but she ignores it until the song is over. She stands up, stares at the crowd for a few seconds, and runs out, leaving the chicken cutlet behind. Mo then asks who wants to go next. Mo later stops Maya and tells her that he found her music sheets, and that he wants her in the band. Maya is ecstatic.
In Got Your Money (1), Zig officially joins the band as their lead singer and Adam joins as their bassist, though absent from practice because he is sick.
In Got Your Money (2), WhisperHug has its first live performance at a school dance. They perform, and the crowd loves them.
In Building A Mystery (1), Zig reveals that the band is preparing for "Battle of the Bands".
In Building A Mystery (2), the band members set up and perform during Degrassi's fundraiser.
In Tonight, Tonight, they compete in Battle of the Bands and win 3rd place.
Season 13[]
In You Got Me, the beginning of "Up in Our Cloud" plays out of Drew's iTunes from Adam's former workout playlist, before he closes his laptop.
