Mr. Lavigne was the teacher of the Drama class at Degrassi Community School. He oversaw the production of Space Awakening. He was portrayed by Rick Jon Egan.

In Just Can’t Get Enough (1), he hands out packet of information about the class to the students taking the Master Music class.
In Close To Me, Mr. Lavigne tries to get the class to decide on a play to produce. He agrees with Declan and Jane's pitch to write original music for the play. He assigns Declan and Jane as the producers of the play.
In Heart Like Mine (2), he plays the piano for Fiona's vocal lesson.
