The friendship between Frankie Hollingsworth and Goldi Nahir developed in the second season of Degrassi: Next Class.

Season 2
In #SquadGoals, Goldi is apart of the volleyball team along with Frankie, Shay, and Lola, and she seems to be friendly with all of the other girls. Goldi helps Frankie with her idea for revenge against the opposing volleyball team, and the next day, they are seen laughing about their prank in practice.
In #CheckYourPrivilege, she explains white privilege to Frankie at lunch while the team is talking about the consequences of Frankie's prank. Goldi explains that Frankie can't possibly know what it's like to live with a legacy of prejudice against her.
