Character History

Season 10

In 99 Problems (1) and 99 Problems (2), Jess is seen as one of the people in Alli's dance crew. After she finds out Alli is only in it for popularity, she leaves. Bianca said that Jess fell twice when they were working on a routine

In Halo (1), Jess makes her official debut, when she is accidentally hit by a football thrown by KC and Drew, so they ran up to her to make her she's okay, and she expresses that her spine hurts. Drew asks her what her name is, and she tells him that it's Jess. KC wants to know how they can make it up to her, and she jokes around saying, "I'll have to check with my personal injury lawyer" and walks away. It is acknowledged that both Drew and KC are interested in her. Jess is later seen sitting at lunch with Drew, KC and a few other people. When Jenna wants to sit at their table, Jess makes confused facial expressions. When Jenna tells KC she has her first prenatal class today, Jess again eyes them with a look of confusion.

Season 11

In Paper Planes (2) she is seen in class as Connor, Wesley and Hannah were presenting their App.

In Should've Said No (2), Drew asks her out to Degrassi's Movie Night, and she agrees. However, during the movie, Drew ends up ditching her, as he leaves the room because he believes he saw Vince.

• It was unknown what grade she is in, as in Season 10 she has a yellow shirt, and in Season 11 she has a purple shirt.
• Jess is one of nine characters on Degrassi who have had braces. The others were Anya, Clare, Marco, Sean, Emma, Melanie, Spike, and Lucy.
• She had a crush on K.C. Guthrie until she found out he had a baby. She now has feelings for Drew Torres.
