Kevin Guthrie is K.C. Guthrie's father and Lisa Guthrie's ex-husband. He and Lisa were teenage parents, but he abandoned her while she was pregnant. They later reconciled and got married, although it ended in a divorce. He has recently been released from jail. The reasons for his imprisonment are still unknown, but we do know that it has something to do with him being a drug addict.

Season 12

In Waterfalls (2), while at Little Miss Steaks for the celebration of the "Bright Sparks" win at a competition, Lisa tells KC, that Kevin is being released from jail early, and he wants to visit him.

In Rusty Cage (1) , he is seen for the first time eating pizza with K.C. in the mall. Later at home, he wants K.C. to help him with resume to get a job. K.C. gets a text from Lisa to come home to tell him he got a job and they celebrate with wine which gets K.C. upset, despite the fact Lisa isn't suppose to drink or do drugs.

In Rusty Cage (2) , he is mentioned by Lisa that she wants him to stay away from them. He is then outside of their apartment, drunk, bamming on the door to let him in which makes K.C call the police.
