Michael Ryan "Mike" Lobel (b. March 7, 1984 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actor best known for portraying Jay Hogart on Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Mike is in a band, "Boys Who Say No". His nickname is "La Belle". Rumor has it that Lobel used to have a crush on one of his co-stars Stacey Farber (Ellie). Coincidentally, Mike's brother's name is Elliott, sometimes called Ellie, who is attending University. He is now in a new show Really Me!

Mike maintains that he is not like his Degrassi character in real life, and that he would never do the things Jay did, but the way he says stuff and his humor is just like Jay. He has that charm Jay has. Mike had originally auditioned to play the role of Dylan Michalchuk, a complete opposite to the role of Jay, and instead was offered the larger role of Jay.
