Degrassi: Next Class[]
Season 3[]
In #BreakTheInternet, she is first seen when Miles visits a comatose Tristan at the hospital. Miles asks her if the doctor has been by yet, to which she replies she's not sure if the doctor is coming. Miles notes Tristan seems to be getting better as he grabbed Miles' hand earlier that day, but Mrs. Milligan says it's complicated.
Miles hesitantly asks if the doctors think Tristan will ever be normal again, and Mrs. Milligan says they think 10 weeks is a long time to be in a coma at this level. She then tells Miles he should be with his friends for the new school year, but he insists on staying as Tristan needs him. She tearfully leaves the two of them alone.
In #ThatFeelingWhen, Miles gets a text from Mrs. Milligan and rushes to meet her at the hospital. Tristan is awake, and Mrs. Milligan tells Miles she wishes he could've been there when it happened. Miles goes in to see him and she tells him that although Tristan knows they are there, he can't communicate yet. She then says that Tristan should rest, but insists that Miles stay for a bit.
In #IRegretNothing, she is again seen at the hospital when Miles comes to visit Tristan, who is now able to walk a few steps.
She informs Miles that Tristan wants to come see his play, I.M Hope, but Miles says the play might not be happening as Simpson worries the content might be triggering. She points out that lots of great plays, including ones that are commonly studied in school, feature controversial content, and asks Miles why he thinks that is. He figures it's because the theme is important, and Tristan, through a computer, reminds Miles that the theme of his play is hope. Mrs. Milligan remarks, "What could be more important than that?"
