Philip "Neil" Hope (September 24, 1972 - November 25, 2007) was a Canadian actor who portrayed Robin "Griff" Griffith on The Kids of Degrassi Street, and Derek Wheeler on Degrassi Junior High, Degrassi High, School's Out! and Degrassi: The Next Generation. He was nominated for a Young Artist Award along with the rest of his Degrassi cast mates for Outstanding Young Ensemble Cast.

  • His father died in 1987 due to cirrhosis, a disease of the liver as a result of his drinking.
