Savtaj "Sav" Bhandari is a graduate of Degrassi Community School from the class of 2011. He comes from a strict Muslim background, but sometimes disobeys the rules his parents set on him, particularly when it comes to dating girls outside of his religion. Nonetheless, Sav is level-headed and mature, and loves his family very much, especially his little sister Alli, whom he is quick to defend both at school and at home. Despite being considered popular and attractive, Sav is insecure and gets nervous occasionally. He is passionate about music and plans to major in it in college. Sav is best friends with Peter Stone and Danny Van Zandt, and is also friends with Spinner Mason, Holly J. Sinclair, Jane Vaughn, Anya MacPherson, Mia Jones, Chantay Black, and Mo Mashkour. Sav was portrayed by Raymond Ablack.

Character History

Season 7

Sav is included in the group of students who transfer to Degrassi from the Lakehurst Secondary School. He is first seen in the cafeteria talking with Jane Vaughn about an upcoming ski trip in Standing In The Dark. Manny Santos expresses interest in him and goes up to their table, asking if there is any room for two more. Sav offers Manny his seat and mentions the ski trip. Manny is interested and pushes Darcy Edwards to go on the ski trip. Darcy asks if Manny is in a "Sav mood," but Manny or Sav never pursue relationship with each other, and Manny's interest in Sav isn't touched on any further in the season.

When the students were having a class debate, Sav gets caught in the middle of Holly J. and Mia's argument over childcare. It is later revealed that both of the girls have a crush on Sav, and he appears to show interest in Mia, too. However, after Mia and Holly J. have a heated personal debate during class with Sav in the middle of the action, his liking for Mia seems to dissolve slightly. In an attempt to win him back, Mia apologizes to Sav and the two go to The Dot for a date. However, the next day at school, Mia suggests to Sav that they start hanging out more with each other, and he admits to her that he's not interested in getting involved with anyone at the moment, which leaves Mia heartbroken.

Later, during the Purple Dragon event, Mia approaches Sav at the badminton tournament and he encourages her to get back involved in the game, stating how good she was at it back at their old school, Lakehurst. Mia is reluctant because of her baby, but she gets back into it and her feelings for Sav overtake. He then asks that in exchange for badminton lessons she'll teach him how to show affection for girls. Mia agrees and without thinking, she eventually gives him his first kiss. When she goes to kiss him publicly after their badminton triumph, he backs off. Mia and Holly J. later see Anya and Sav together, revealing his true interest in her and not Mia

Later during the year, Anya runs the Free The Children Freedom Fast to promote education and health in Africa. Anya tries to get Holly J. and Sav to get to know each other and become friends by making them work together, but Holly J, and Sav share some secrets. Sav tells Holly J. that later on he is going to have to get an arranged marriage with a Muslim girl. Holly J. tells Anya, trying to break them up. Anya confronts Sav, and he tells her that it would be later on and he wants to fight for them. Anya realizes that Holly J. was trying to ruin her relationship with Sav, and wants payback.

Season 8

Sav has entered his 11th year as junior when Season 8 comes around. He has a younger sister, Alli Bhandari, who has entered the school and befriended Darcy's sister, Clare.

In With or Without You, while on a camping trip for the ecology club, Sav

and Anya plan to celebrate their 6 month anniversary. Anya says she wants to become a Muslim for Sav, and he likes the idea. The two soon decide that they want to sleep together, but their plans are interrupted when Sav hears his sister scream. His sister, Alli, was alone with Johnny DiMarco in a tent. Sav chastises her for being alone in a tent with a boy, and Anya, noticing his double standard, she decides to break up with him. Anya returns everything that Sav gave to her in a box.

In Lost in Love, Sav is shown to want Anya back and does many things to do so. In the end, when Anya decides to give him a second chance, Sav gives up and dances with Leia.

In Bad Medicine, Riley tries to go on a date with Anya, but Sav becomes jealous of him. Riley and Anya go on a date together, but when it doesn't go well, Anya tells him that she stills loves Sav. However, they agree to be friends. Before they go to their football game, Riley gets a text from his friend he hooked up with in the woods. Sav, thinking the message was from Anya, reads it and says that Riley had a gay picnic with her. The remark gives Riley have 'roid rage, and he headbutts Sav's nose, making it bleed. He tries to beat Sav up more, but he is held back.

In Causing a Commotion, Sav discovers that Anya still loves him, but doesn't want to go back out with him,

because he is too scared to tell his parents about her. Sav takes a big leap of faith and tells his dad about her. His father suggests he invites her over for dinner. Anya makes Sav's parents a meal, trying to impress them, but the dinner turns sour when his mom tells them they shouldn't be together because Sav is Muslim, and he will eventually end up married with a woman of his age and background. The next day, Sav tells Anya that he told his parents he wouldn't stop seeing her, which makes her happy. They then kiss and make up.

In Up Where We Belong, he is forced to chose between music and engineering for his career. (His family is mostly made up of engineers and he is afraid his father would disapprove of his music career.) He confronts his father about this, and his father says music is just a "hobby." Sav talks to the music teacher and realizes that he has true potential in the music industry. He later talks to his father about being a music producer. His father agrees, and Sav promises to take engineering classes if the music career doesn't work out. Sav is happy and now has more faith in his music.

In Degrassi Goes Hollywood, Sav travels to L.A. with the Studz, and is excited about being able to belch, fart and not shower with the guys. Apparently, off-screen during this movie, Sav hooked up with Paige Michalchuk.

Season 9

Sav arrives to Degrassi again for his second semester of grade 11 in Just Can't Get Enough (1).

In Just Can't Get Enough (2), he is happy that the Studz will be performing in the Winter Beach Bash. Sav discovers that Peter is taking crystal meth and is not happy his friend is taking drugs. He, Danny, and Spinner are left performing by themselves at the Winter Beach Bash, when Peter comes back in, trashes it and runs back out. Sav, Riley, Danny, and Spinner set out to find Peter.

In Shoot to Thrill, Sav gives Alli his old cell phone, which she gives to Johnny, so that she could sext him.

In You Be Illin', Sav gives Alli dating advice, and Alli tells him he is a great brother. Sav and Danny have a tough time telling Peter he is out of the band for taking crystal meth, but Sav eventually tells Peter that Jane is the new singer. He doesn't want to give the band the impression that crystal meth is okay. Peter tries to convince them wrong by getting them a van, but they don't let him back in. In the end, they stay friends with Peter, and he becomes their roadie.

In Beat It (1), Sav questions Anya and Leia's mysterious after school

activity.

Sav finds out that Anya and Leia LARP, and he seems to disapprove of it, which strains his relationship with Anya. After asking Anya if she'd like to come watch their band rehearsal, she yells at him, and he leaves.

In Beat It (2), Sav appears at Anya's LARP wedding playing the lute, surprising Anya, but it makes her happy, because it shows he accepts her hobby.

In Waiting For a Girl Like You, Sav tells Declan that Holly J. is almost impossible to get.

In Heart Like Mine (1), Sav assumes that the entire class is getting an extension on the essay, and is excited because that means he will be able to attend the Athletics Banquet.

In Heart Like Mine (2), he along with Anya and Declan decide on who should play the lead female role. He tells Declan that Fiona is vocally challenged.

In Start Me Up, Sav lets Peter back in the band and renames it Janie and the Studz featuring Peter Stone.

In Why Can't This Be Love? (1), Anya surprises Sav by putting confetti in his locker and a note asking him to the Spring Formal. Sav tells him that he will of course go with him, and Anya insists that it'll be the perfect night of their lives. After, Sav tells Danny that he hasn't told his parents that him and Anya got back together, which Anya doesn't know. In science, Anya keeps telling Sav that the night will be amazing. The next morning before school, Sav takes Anya to the garden area and tells her that is where they're going to take their formal pictures, and she thinks it's perfect. During school, Sav, Danny, and Peter rent tuxes at the school tuxedo rentals. Sav asks Peter to go with Farrah to the prom, and Peter agrees, taking a favor from Sav. Later on, while Sav is at dinner re-meeting his 'arranged wife' Farrah, he ignores Anya's calls 4 times. After dinner, Anya comes to Sav's house, and Sav tells him that he really shouldn't be there at the moment. Anya asks him why and tells him he is there, because he wanted to see if his pocket napkin matched his tie. After a few minutes have gone by, Farrah comes to the door, and Anya asks who it is. After arguing, Anya finds out that Sav never told his parents about their relationship and that Farrah is his arranged wife. Crushed, Anya leaves Sav's house, and at the next day at school, he doesn't want to talk to him. Sav confronts him and tells her that he really wants to go to the prom with him, and that he knows that he knows she wants to go with him. Anya agrees and forgives Sav.

In Why Can't This Be Love? (2), before prom, Sav tells Anya that Farrah is still going, but as Peter's date, and Anya tells him that it'll probably be awkward. Sav tells her he knows, but they'll try to keep the night as perfect as possible. Later on, they take a limo ride to Degrassi. When they get out, Sav takes awkward photos with Anya and Farrah. After, Anya grabs Sav and they walk in together. After a while of dancing, Anya goes to the bathroom and sees Farrah standing in front of the mirrors. Anya is being friendly towards Farrah, and Farrah bitchily tells her that before she knows it, Sav will be all hers and Anya will be history. Mutually declaring war on each other, when they both walk of the bathroom, Anya approaches Sav and begins to make out with him, when she knew Farrah was looking. Anya took Sav and told him it was time for the special part of their night. Sav asked her if it was okay, and she told him it was. Then, Anya and Sav went to the Limo and had "unprotected sex". After they enter the school again, they are crowned Prom King and Queen, which makes Anya happy. The next day, Anya goes to Holly J., telling her that she made a big mistake and had unprotected sex with Sav. Holly J. tells her that she could take a few pills and she'll be fine, but Anya tells her that she never took the pill. Later, after interviewing with Chantay about the future, and about kids, Sav asks her why she is mentioning kids a lot. Anya tells her that she is because she might be pregnant. Sav, misunderstanding, says she'll be fine, because shes on the pill. Anya tells him that she never was on the pill, and that she lied. Sav was upset, but Anya told him that she is more upset, because if she's pregnant, she'll have to go through the process. At the end of the episode, Sav breaks up with Anya,telling her he couldn't trust her anymore. As he leaves Anya's homeroom, she begins to cry.

In Innocent When You Dream, Sav can't seem to get over the fact that Anya is moving on after the break up and he isn't. When trying to prove that he is moving on, he finally finishes the final track for "House Arrest". Feeling accomplished, he wants to enter the band into a contest for a music video. So, he tries to make a music video for "House Arrest", which doesn't work out too smoothly as he had hoped. Later on, in desperate boredom, Sav calls Anya to hang out. After talking for a while, Anya asks Sav when they're going to get back together, because she wanted Sav to believe she was busy so that he'd fall for her again. He tells Anya it was a mistake calling her back up, and tells her that it was their final break up. In the end of the plot, Sav shows the video on the announcements and tells the band that he did some minor adjustments to make it just right. But he tells them that he decided not to enter it into the contest, because he finds filming cats more entertaining. Then he tells Jane that he is booked with a Persian Cat video the following week.

Season 10

In What a Girl Wants (1), Sav walks into The Dot, and notices that Anya is walking out. They glance at each other awkwardly before saying hi. Sav decides to run against Holly J. in the Student Council President election. After talking with Anya earlier, Holly J. got an idea to try and get Sav out of the election, so she wouldn't have any competition. She confronts Sav at his locker, and lies to him, telling him that Anya is pregnant. He is shocked at the news.

In What a Girl Wants (2), Sav confronts Anya about being pregnant in art class. Anya is moody toward Sav and is surprised he even cares. The next day, he tells her that he wants to be there for their baby, so he switched out of music and transferred into Anya's art class to be with her more. After school that day, Anya and Sav are walking around town, and they sit on a bench, talking about the baby and different kinds of baby names that they preferred. Anya says that she always wanted to name her son Victor; Sav doesn't seem to like the name, but goes along with it.

In Breakaway (1), Sav is not giving up the election, and his relationship with Anya is going strong. Due to actions from Holly J., Anya is forced to

tell Sav the truth. Sav is disappointed, but Anya reassures him that it was all Holly J.'s idea and that she was hurt by him at the time, which was the only reason she agreed to it. She also tells him that she did not want to lose him again, and that over the summer she had cried everyday because of their break up. Sav is convinced and stays with her, continuing to go with the story of the pregnancy. At the election, Holly J.'s speeches center around education and Sav's speech was about having fun, being happy, and feeling full. Sav tells the audience that he is going through a tough time as an upcoming father, so he should be able to handle anything well. The audience is convinced that Sav is the right one for the job, and Sav wins the election.

In Breakaway (2), Sav and Anya are happy to be together once again at last, and are happy that the fake baby is making everything good. Dave and the other reps offer to throw a baby shower for them, but they decline. Deciding the lie has to end, on the morning announcements the next day, Sav and Anya tell the school that they had a miscarriage and are no longer having the baby, saying they need space. Everyone feels bad and gives them flowers as the day progresses. After school, Sav and Anya begin to kiss behind the school bus, as they start a new relationship. However, Sav is nervous about his parents finding out about the pregnany rumor. Anya tells him that they'll say Holly J. created the rumor to try and get him out of the election. Sav takes Anya back to his house, and they begin to make out on his couch. A few minutes later, they hear the door open, and they jump up from the couch. Sav tries to get her to leave, but Anya is upset because she thought it'd be different this time. Sav's mom walks in and is mad when she sees Anya, asking what was going on. Sav lies, saying he brought Anya back to his house to pick up French notes, and that she was just about to leave. Anya, however, tells him mother the truth: that they were making out, but itwill never ever happen again. The next day at school, Anya is upset with Sav, she breaks up with him, saying it may be better off if he switches from art back to music.

In I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself (1), Sav wins four tickets and backstage passes to a reunion concert of a band called 'Dead Hand.' He asks his dad if he can go, but his dad says he can't since the concert is on a Monday night. Holly J. asks Sav the next day if he has any ideas how to raise money for student council. He told her about the tickets that are now no use to him and she told Sav that they should hold a 'Hands on a Car Body'. He just needs to get to his dad's permission to use his new truck. His dad actually agrees. The contest ends with Eli, Adam and Wesley. Eli gets Wesley out by pouring water out of a bottle making him need to use the bathroom. Adam and Eli decide to split the four tickets. Sav asks them to help him unload the truck. They do and Adam falls and smashes the amp into the tail light of the truck. Sav gets mad, but Eli and Adam give up their extra tickets so Sav can sell them for money for the tail light. Sav sells the extra ticket to Bianca for $200. Eli puts the tail light in for free, since he's good with cars. They ask Sav to see if he can take his dad's truck to the concert, because they have no other ride. His dad says he can go, but he then tells his dad that the tail light got smashed and then he says he isn't allowed to go to the concert. Later, he is at The Dot with Adam and Eli and Sav plans to 'borrow' the car for the concert.

In I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself (2), Sav, Eli and Adam gather near the J.T. Yorke Memorial

to find ideas on how to keep Sav's parents busy while they're at the concert. Sav seems uneasy about going, but he is determined at the same time. They finally find an ad in the newspaper for a Bollywood Show. When Sav gets home he stalls his mom so he can take the car keys out her pocket book. He offers his parents two Bollywood show tickets as an apology. His mother tells his father that Sav is being "sincere" and that he's honestly sorry and she does trust him. At first his father feels he is up to something suspicious, but accepts the tickets. When Sav goes out to pick up Eli and Adam, he seems unsure about going to the concert, thinking about what his mother said about how she really "trusts" him. Once they get to the concert Eli admits, "Think I would touch my dad's MGB? That's why I have my own car." Both Adam and Eli admit that they'd never take a chance to steal their parents car to go to a concert. Sav checks the time on his iPhone and says they have enough time to get home if they leave now. Then Bianca, obviously drunk, comes in and falls into Sav's arms. Sav tries to calm her down when she says that he's the "guy at school who likes no fun." They were about to leave until they hear the band is going to do an encore. After the encore, he rushes to the car, bringing Bianca because she is too drunk to drive. While driving home, Adam mentions that they won't be able to make it on time. At first, Sav says he's not going to speed, but does anyway since he only has twelve minutes. When the police starts following him, Bianca yells "floor it" since she can't be caught drunk again. When Sav pulls over, the officer shines the light into his face saying, "This car has been reported stolen." Sav returns home and gets a lecture from his father. His fathers insists Sav's been living a perfect life, but Sav explains he doesn't because he's been pushed away from music, Anya, and fun. His father says he is grounded for two months and deep inside somewhere he knows he is a good boy. When Sav goes back to school, Adam and Eli go up to him and Sav apologizes for ruining their night. Adam insists that they should all play one day and Sav thinks he should just stick to being truthful instead of sneaking around, and Eli agrees. In the last scene Adam admits Sav is his hero.

In You Don't Know My Name (1), the Band Slam gets canceled and Sav is upset. Holly J. goes for a student council meeting with just her and Sav, Mr. Simpson walks in to tell them he has to cancel the "Band Slam", upset Sav and Holly J. don't know what to do. Holly J. then gets the idea for a Hoedown Throw-down Dance, they can have it at "Above The Dot" and they can ask Peter to help them. They'll need balloons, snacks, etc. Sav also apologizes for her and Declan's breakup, she says thank you. Later after making the phone calls for the supplies, Holly J. and Fiona are walking in the halls. Sav catches up with them, and hears them still talking about Declan, and her blemish. Sav tells her that he thinks her blemish is kinda cute, and Holly J. blushes. He walks away and Fiona tells Holly J. that her and Sav would be a cute couple, but Holly J. doesn't think so. Later Holly J. and Sav have another meeting and they begin talking, but Holly J. and Sav make arrangements to hangout while she's working, Sav says his parents will let him have free snacks, if it has something to do with student council, after Holly J. jokes around like that. Sav goes to were Holly J. works and they have a good time. Later on, Holly J. goes to the student council room to see Sav blowing up balloons. He told her he made a mistake ordering them, and she helps him blow them up. They goof off for a while by breathing in the helium and talking like chipmunks. Sav mistakes the mood for a romantic one, and kisses her.

In You Don't Know My Name (2), Sav likes Holly J… but she doesn’t like him. Or at least that’s what she tells

Fiona (as she also tries to convince herself). But she can’t deny that she likes him, while at the same time she’s not over Declan. Sav and Holly J. in Season 10 And Fiona’s there to constantly remind her of that. Now Sav and Holly J. come to the conclusion that they can be together no strings attached. They’re not taking things seriously, and Holly J. even states that their fling could randomly end at anytime. Even better is that while Sally J is a go, it’s not going to be easy; they’re going to be forced to keep their secret from Anya, who will flip out if she finds out about them.

In My Body is a Cage, he is put in a group project with Anya and Holly J. He is seen working on their volcano project with Holly J., and is later called by her when she thinks Anya has found out about them.

In Purple Pills (1), Sav and Holly J. discuss ideas for a fundraiser, and Fiona suggests "A Night in Vegas", which Sav agrees to.

In Purple Pills (2), Sav is seen when Mr. Simpson announces that the dance is a go.

In All Falls Down (2), Holly J. and Sav are seen welcoming everyone to the "A Night in Vegas" event. They are

seen flirting with each other at an empty conference room, where Holly J. stacks up drinks against a table. She is seen blushing and impressed with Sav's song, which was written for her. She later tells Sav to meet her in the Drama room at 10 minutes Holly J. proceeds to give Sav a strip tease and a lap dance, before kissing him. The police catches them together, and they are escorted to the entrance, where they meet an anxious Mr. Simpson. Holly J. tries to convince Mr. Simpson that she is sorry, but he does not listen to her.

In Don't Let Me Get Me (1), Sav and Holly J. are seen apologizing to Mr. Simpson for their actions on Vegas Night, but Mr. Simpson seems unlikely to accept it. They continue with their morning announcement, and Sav is heard talking about the new policies that were in place for the rest of the semester.

In Don't Let Me Get Me (2), Sav tells Alli to remind their parents how Alli is the same sweet loving daughter, and a sister. The next day at school Alli and Sav meet up with Holly J. Alli complains that Sav is now her chaperon because Bianca ruined everything. Holly J. points out that Bianca didn’t force Drew into the boiler room and Sav says that if it wasn’t Bianca Drew cheated with it would be someone else. With this in mind, Alli makes the difficult decision to leave Degrassi.

In Love Lockdown (1), Sav is seen accompanying Holly J. to the class when he asks her about finally about the Grundy Award. Holly J. says she is having lunch with Declan. Sav looks

surprised and warns Holly J. that it might be Declan's ploy to get her back. Holly J. promises Sav that she’s happy with him and has no intention in getting back together with Declan, and that he is flying to New York the very next day. Holly J. then kisses Sav on the cheek and they walk together. That night Sav accompanies Holly J. to the Grundy’s. He was furious for the fact that Declan was complementing Holly J. with an affection. Later after the awards Sav confronts Holly J. and warns that Declan's way to get her. Holly J. tells him that hes being paranoid and there's no need to overreact to this situation. Sav cautiously agrees to it as Declan invites them to the Coyne Mansion for a party. Sav agrees to accompany Holly J. to the party. Later that in the Coyne Mansion Sav is seen hanging around, talking and hugging her throughout the party. Declan has a plan to get Holly J. away from Sav and it comes in the form of playing with an iPad. With excitement that he get DJ with a new app that Declan provided, Sav goes upstairs to work on the DJ as a result getting distracted from his girlfriend Holly J. At the end of the party, Fiona goes from sober to drunk in one sip. Holly J. stays to help take care of a drunk Fiona, and a concerned Sav worries about Holly J. out all night but he kisses her goodbye and leave the condo leaving behind Holly J, Fiona, and Declan.

In Love Lockdown (2), Sav unintentionally meets Declan outside of Degrassi. Declan asks if he's seen Holly J, and if he so happens to see her, that Sav should tell Holly J. to call him. Confused and unsure, Sav says okay and walks away. The next day, Sav meets up with Holly J. in the computer lab and asks if she's going to Physics with him. Holly J. says she'll meet up with him later. Sav senses something is wrong with Holly J. and asks if she's been alright, because they haven't spoke since Fiona's party. Holly J. assures him she's fine and she tells him he'll meet up with him later. He sighs and goes to his class.

In Umbrella (1), he is seen doing the morning announcements with Holly J.

In Halo (1), Sav is seen watching the morning announcements with Chantay and is upset about how Mr. Simpson is running things. Jenna walks up to the two and talks about the Make a Wish event, and Sav tells Jenna it's Chantay's way to break the curse. When Holly J. discusses the details for the event, Jenna makes fun of Chantay, and Chantay tells her it's the best she could do. Sav tells her not to knock it, and tells Jenna that Mr. Simpson said that musicians can perform at the event. Sav asks Jenna if he wants to do a duet with her, and she agrees. Sav is later seen with Jenna, who is venting to him about her life has turned upside down. Sav tries to reassure Jenna that everything will be alright. He then asks her about K.C., and Jenna tells him that he doesn't even want to be involved with her pregnancy. Sav tells her that he's probably just terrified, and that he'll come around. Later on, Sav is seen strumming his guitar as Jenna walks in on him, upset because K.C. was supposed to meet her 20 minutes ago so they could both go to her parental class. Sav tells her that maybe he just lost track of time, and Jenna tells Sav that K.C. is only avoiding something because he wants to. Jenna wants to know why K.C. would send her a wishing star if he was just going to ditch her, and Sav admits that he sent her the wishing star to cheer her up because she seemed down. Jenna asks, "How could I be so stupid?" and Sav tells her she isn't. Jenna is convinced that she'll have to go through this pregnancy alone, and Sav tells her she won't, and he accompanies her to her prenatal class as a friend. Later on, both Jenna and Sav are seen at Jenna's prenatal class. Sav asks the instructor a question. He asks, "So, after birth, does stuff go back to normal?" Jenna gets upset, and Sav says he meant "in life." The instructor asks if Sav's a first time daddy, and Jenna explains to her that he isn't the father, merely a friend helping her out. Sav then leaves to wash the babies as part of the class. Later, at the Make A Wish event, Jenna and Sav are seen performing together. After they're finished, Sav tells her it was a blast working with her. Jenna then suddenly kisses him, barely noticing that Sav doesn't kiss Jenna back. Holly J. then calls Sav for some help, and Sav runs off to help her, leaving Jenna smitten.

In Halo (2). Sav finds Jenna and tells her he is not interested in her that way and she is very hurt and

confused, but Sav explains to her that he will not cheat on Holly J. However, later on in this episode Holly J. finally confesses to Sav about her night with Declan . Later in the end of this episode at the Anti Crackdown Party, K.C finds Sav and tells him Jenna is going to have the baby and K.C takes him to the limo where Jenna is merely faking labor to get him to talk to Holly J. Sav and Holly J. make amends at the end of this episode and are seen dancing and kissing as the screen fades black.

In When Love Takes Over, Sav is seen dressed up as Cupid, advertising to the Degrassi students to buy a rose for the ones they care about the most.

In The Way We Get By (1), Sav gives Alli the last bowl of cereal after she convinces him to do so. He also gives Alli the idea of befriending a girl named Maleika, a girl who the Bhandari's think their daughter could learn something from.

In The Way We Get By (2), Sav asks Alli where Maleika was, as she had not returned from escaping the night before. She returns before Alli can give a real answer. After Alli was framed with the cigarette, Sav comforted her, being the only who believed that she wouldn't smoke.

In Jesus, Etc. (1), the Bhandari’s aren't happy with Alli because of her situation with Malika. She’s been suspended for supposedly smoking on campus (even thought it was really Malika who was smoking) and Sav has offered to drive her to the library every day, the one place she’s allowed to visit. Alli tells Sav how much she appreciates his support and then starts rambling about Drew. Sav has his own share of problems to deal with. He is trying to compose an original song to submit to Music Conservatory’s, but he needs a drummer. He auditions drummers for the song, but most of them fails to impress Sav, until Drew walks in. Sav knows that he could never work with Drew after he cheated on Alli, but then he hears Drew plays, and impresses Sav. Sav decides to try to carefully tell Alli that he and Drew are going to work together. Sav knows he can’t betray Alli, but Drew was the only drummer that didn’t make him want to cut his ears off. So, he decides to work with Drew and pray that Alli won’t find out. Things are going great with their practice. They give each other a hug and Bianca takes a pic to commemorate the day, when Alli shows up to Degrassi wondering why Sav didn't picked her from the library up after school. Alli gets mad at Sav and leaves. At home, Alli is enraged with Sav. She goes off on him, screaming that Drew is the source of all her problems and the reason that she’s suspended and that her parents aren’t talking to her. She feels betrayed by Sav, but Sav doesn't take lying down. Though it sucks for Alli that Sav seems to take sides with the guy that cheated on his sister, Sav fires back at her, telling Alli that Drew didn’t make her date Johnny, dress in revealing clothing or get in a fight with Bianca, and that those were all her decisions. Enraged and saddened, Alli walks away, leaving Sav regretting about what he said to her.

In Jesus, Etc (2), When Alli won't come down, Sav assumes it’s just she being dramatic and isn’t worried about his little sister’s sudden absence. At school Sav can’t seem to concentrate. Even Holly J’s talk of bikini’s and lesbians can’t get his attention. Holly J. tells him it may be more than that. Mrs. Bhandari is getting increasingly worried and asks Sav to hack into Alli’s computer and try to find some clues as to where she’s gone. successfully hacks into Alli's account and discovers a journal entry that Alli wrote. She is more upset than anyone in the family realized and said that she thinks they’d be better off without her. Sav and Mr. Bhandari try driving around the city in hopes of finding Alli. Mr. Bhandari tells Sav that Alli will be in big trouble when she gets home and Sav points out that her getting in trouble and not being heard is the reason she’s run away. Later a police officer shows up to his house and gives Sav and the Bhandaris a surveillance footage from a coffee shop near Alli’s new school. Sav is concerned and thinks that she must have got abducted by someone but the police officer points out that there is no way no to know if Alli was actually actually abducted or gone by her own will.

In Hide and Seek (1), Sav is first seen at the media immersion class. He talks to Holly J after the class, and keeps her posted about Alli disapprance. Later that night, Sav is seen in the Bhandari house with her parents. Sav is upset that they police can’t do anything to find Alli, but he needs to keep a lid on it, as it somehow upsets Mrs. Bhandari. He tells Mr. Bhandari that he talked to all of Alli’s friends and none of them have seen her. Sav goes on the hunt for his sister, eventually going to check at Johnny's apartment at his boarding school. Sav tells Johnny about Alli's disappearance, but Johnny says that he hasn’t seen Alli, even though she is staying at Johnny's apartment without Sav's knowing. The next day, Holly J is looking up at her evaluation form as it looks like she got an average to a good score. Sav walks in and tries to talk Holly J out of the run since she looks horrible and can’t keep her eyes open, but Holly J. refuses.

In Hide and Seek (2), Sav is first seen walking in the media immersion room. He tells Holly J. to go see the

doctor. After Alli lost her ticket, she returns to Johnny's dorm, only to discover that he ratted her out to Sav. He tells her that he won't force her to come home. Instead he tells her that they all miss her and that he’ll stick up for Alli when their parents come down on her for running away. When Sav returns home the Bhandari’s are furious that he didn’t drag Alli back with him. Sav finally stands up for his sister and points out that his parents and their constant disappointment in Alli is why she ran away in the first place. However, she returns home and the family have a talk. They all realize that they don't talk to each other or open up anymore and decide it's time for a clean slate. They decide to start seeing a therapist and take a group photo together. Later Sav visits Holly J. at the hospital as well and apologizes for being caught up in Alli’s situation and not realizing how sick Holly J. was. Holly J. tells him not to worry about it.

In Drop the World (1), Sav and Holly J.'s relationship has lost its spark, and Holly J. isn't happy anymore. Holly J. admits to Anya and Fiona that it isn't working, so she tells Sav's mother that they are dating, in hopes that his mother would force Sav to dump her. However, Sav sticks up for Holly J., and his parents shockingly encourage him to date her. She opens up and tells him that it was all a plan and breaks up with him.

Season 11

In Spring Fever, Sav finds himself in a bit of a funk: he's moping around and is unable to move on from his breakup with Holly J. and get back to writing music. Alli, fed up with his attitude, takes him shopping for some sunglasses. While out, he runs into a girl, who gets him tickets for a Keke Palmer concert. That night Sav and Alli arrive at the concert, only to realise that the girl he met was, in fact, Keke Palmer herself. After getting on stage with her, Sav feels like he has fallen for her.

The next day, Sav and Keke meet up outside of her hotel before ditching her security and heading to The Dot. While at Degrassi's popular Hangout, the two talk, which boosts Sav's rather dismal confidence. The two then bid farewell to each other, but not before a brief video chat that night, where Keke sings to him.

In LoveGame, Holly J. and Sav talk about their break up, but the two now seem to be ok with it.

In Cry Me A River, he holds a contest to get a radio show on Degrassi's airwaves. Then he kicks Dave off the show for trashing Adam, although Sav later lets Dave back on after he apologizes to Adam over the radio for the whole school.

In Lose Yourself (1), Sav starts to admire Ms. Oh while working on a project with Chantay (who suggests that he has a crush on Ms. Oh which Sav denies quickly) Ms. Oh asks Sav for help with something at lunchtime, an offer which he quickly accepts. Sav arrives early to their meeting and nervously waits for Ms. Oh. Mo and another girl walk in as Winnie talks about touring with a band. She reveals that it is a contest to see who can come up with the best score for the play. Sav and Mo work on their scores. Sav's is lovely string music (inspired by Ms. Oh) while Mo's is an upbeat techno piece. Mo also implies an attraction to Ms. Oh. When showing their scores to Ms. Oh Sav gets picked although Ms. Oh suggests he works with Mo. Sav does get help from Jenna which Mo overhears. Mo also steals Sav's iPod. Sav is tearing through his locker and Mo walks up and reveals he took Sav's music player. Mo blackmails Sav into letting him be co-composer (he heard Sav's song about Ms. Oh "Oh Girl")

In Lose Yourself (2), Mo tries to help Sav with his crush on Ms. Oh. At a meeting with Ms. Oh, she tells Sav that Mo couldn't make it, but he sent the music to her. She opens the file only to hear Sav's "Oh Girl" song. Sav

leaves embarrassed. He goes over to Mo, at a pay phone, and asks him why he sent Ms. Oh the song. Mo tells Sav that he only wanted to help him get with her, and then offers him tickets to a concert that night, in an attempt to heighten Sav's spirits. They go to the concert and Mo tells Sav that he should find a girl to use to get over his crush on Ms. Oh. As they talk about girls, Ms. Oh walks into the venue with a friend. As the boys try to make their way out without her noticing, Sav bumps into Ms. Oh. Mo ditches Sav, telling him that he wants stories after. She invites Sav to watch the concert with her and friend, telling him to call her by her first name, Winnie. The next day at school, Mo and Sav are talking in the doorway about the night before. Mo tells Sav that she's interested. Ms. Oh walks by and Sav calls her by her first name. Ms. Oh seems angry by him doing so, with Mo taking back what he said about her being interested. Sav looks over at Ms. Oh and she winks at him.

In Don't Panic (1), Ms. Oh gave a Sav a CD of her favorite band and there have a private lunch together. During lunch, Sav and Ms. Oh help each other with their music. Ms. Oh then reveals her feelings for Sav when she plays him a song she had written. After the fact, she abruptly leaves, leaving Sav confused. The next day, Sav confronts her about the song she wrote about them and they kiss, but she ends up leaving afterwards.

In Don't Panic (2), a rumor goes around the school stating that Sav and Ms. Oh are in a relationahip. That rumor lands them in Mr. Simpson's office, but Sav lies to cover Ms. Oh and states that he started the rumor. The lie lands him in detention until graduation. In the end, Ms. Oh hands Sav a CD that has her number on the back and asks "Need music help after graduation?"

In Take a Bow (2), Sav gets a special music award from Ms. Oh at graduation.

In Dead and Gone (1), Sav tells Mo he is going to hookup with Winnie after school is out. He invites Winnie on a date and she kisses him even though they won't be able to see each other, as he will be going to university. They break up. Sav and Anya go to visit Holly J. after she had her surgery. She helps them with prom stuff. He asks about rooms to disappear into. Mo advises Sav to figure out a way to get alone with Ms. Oh. Sav decides that they should hook up at school since no one will be there.

In Dead and Gone (2), Sav and Ms. Oh finally have a private moment at Degrassi during prom, however, they both learn that Adam was shot. When they get back to prom, Ms. Oh tells him that when they left it was a mistake. Sav and Ms. Oh talk/kiss after Alli talked to her about the Spalding Science Program. When Sav leaves Degrassi, he notice's Holly J. and Anya's hand prints and smiles. As he and Alli leave, Sav says he'll miss Degrassi.
