WhisperHug is a band formed by Mo Mashkour, Maya Matlin, Zig Novak, Imogen Moreno, and Adam Torres in the twelfth season of Degrassi.

History

After winter break during his senior year, Mo decided that he should form a band. He had posters hung up at Degrassi saying he's looking for players and vocalists.

In Come As You Are (2), Imogen auditioned while playing water cups and singing and Maya auditioned playing the cello. Both were accepted.

In Got Your Money (1), Zig officially joins the band as their lead singer and Adam joins as their bassist, though absent from practice because he is sick.

In Got Your Money (2), WhisperHug has its first live performance at a school dance. They perform, and the crowd loves them.

In Building A Mystery (1), Zig reveals that the band is preparing for "Battle of the Bands".

In Building A Mystery (2), the band members set up and perform during Degrassi's fundraiser.

In Tonight, Tonight, they compete in Battle of the Bands and win 3rd place.
